just a FYI out there... . since I have put a 6" lift on the truck over the last year a progressive vib started usually around 1200 rpms. I always thought this was due to the bigger clutch and timing (smarty) on take off. ( the jerky feeling if this makes sense to smarty owners with FE clutches and bigger sticks. I was told to try turning the front shaft with wheels turned and discovered a slight squeek and roughness felt through the front shaft. I replaced the forward and 2 u-joints at the double cardigan joint with super joints replaced the ball flange yoke. the truck now doesnt have any vibe on lower rpm's I had 150k miles on the oem spicer joints. I guess the only thing I would of done different after thinking about it was remove the front shaft first before buying any parts to ensure that this was the problem.
