Front drive shaft specs

I am looking for any info I can get on the front drive line.

Basicly all the specs that are required to have a new shaft built for it.

Has anyone had a replacement shaft built?



This is my 2002 with no axle disconnect with the Dana 60 in the front. My truck is an automatic



I think I need something a little longer due to my lift.



I would think that the axle should be the same on most of these trucks but I could be wrong.

Bill. . get yourself a copy of any JP magazine... many many choises listed in there... sorry don't have one handy just gave all my back copies to my Son to read and save for me.

On a slightly off-topic note......

Did/are you getting any driveline vibes with the lift? I have a top-secret project up my sleeve that's gonna involve permanently sliding the sleeve (at least until I can get a front axle with it permanently removed-even went so far as to price out the bare housing without disconnect-around $11-1200 CDN through my brother the parts manager which is still probably cheaper than me trying to fab one) and curious what you saw vibration-wise from the front shaft. I'm only levelling-so I shouldn't change the angle that much..... but like I said I'm curious!
