I want to remove front driveshaft but I can't budge the four flange bolts from driveshaft to t-case.
Any suggestions to free them up would be appreciated.

Thanks

I encountered the same problem and went looking for a post to answer your question. You are dead on! Sears has a knuckled shallow 16mm socket for about $10 and it worked fine. I still had to use a breaker bar to loosen the bolts (so much for 65 ft lbs of torque). The other challenge was that the wheels where spinning while I was trying to remove the bolts. The solution for 3 was to place a 16 mm box wrench (6-7" long) on the bolt closest to the top. I then turned the shaft until the wrench hit the floor pan. It stilll took the 18" breaker bar to break the hold of these bolts. For the last bolt, I used a 12" 3/8 in extension against a u-joint. It was tricky but accomplished the task.

I use some kind of heavy duty penetrant oil like PB Blaster, Nuts & Bolts, or something similar, then as big a wrench as I can fit into them.

The bolts on mine had a thread locker factory applied, it takes some juju to get them broken the first time, use the method described above with an impact wrench. I actually used a 1/2" impact, but a 3/8" would have been easier.
