Competition First pull today

Now I was thinking on the way home that I got away lucky. I've got new Kuhmo Venture M/T's on my truck. I pulled on a pretty tacky track last night, and just before I was "stopped" there was a bang. I had no wheel spin. To much tire for the track.

I broke the front driveshaft as you can see in the pictures. I plan on pulling quite a bit more next season. Here's the question for the pullers out there... ... .

Do I have one built that's stronger? Do I get another stock replacement?

The front yoke didn't break at all?

I have only replaced that one once, when I had a 1410 put on at the yoke. I twas wore out, never broke.

The Front yoke appears to be just fine. Just the center of the double cardan (saganaw, CV, whatever you'd like to call it), and the U-joint.

This is where you are gravely wrong. You did not have too much tire for the track, just not enough power for the tires :-laf See ya gotta look at it that way. After you fix the driveshaft, its time to add more power, so you can buzz the new tires :D

Sorry that I cannot offer any constructive comments to your thread. I'll go back the the first gen forums now. ;)
