can somebody tell me how long the front drivline is on a 92 regular cab . the truck has been converted to an nv4500 transmission it has the np 205 transfer case . thanks for any input

my driveline is out and I'd be able to measure it for you but I'm out of town for another week or so, let me get back to ya

thanks ive got the transmission and transfer case out mine im rebuilding the transmission and doing a rear main seal and replacing the gasket on the plate on the back of the engine and the bellhousing is cracked so im welding that back together . so i was hoping somebody that had there truck in one piece could tell the length of the drtiveshaft i have a shaft out of a 99 the rear flange is perfect but the front yoke is to wide and the driveline is way to long so i am going to take it a driveline shop and have them cut it down and put the right yoke on the front of the shaft

If I'm not mistaken (and I am, often enough), the overall length of the NV4500 conversions were the same, just a different t-case adaptor. So, I could go out and measure mine in the morning. Or the younger, more limber and agile TSC could do it as well:-laf

just wonderd if anybody had a chance to measure there driveline yet ? thanks for your help

Damn, shame on you guys, just saw this, 10 days and no help!!!! What you need... weld to weld on ends or center of cross to center of cross, I'll go out and measure mine in the cold blustery wind right quick before it gets dark.

Darn, its nasty out there !!! Where'd my 110* weather go??:-laf Anyways, front shaft from where the yoke is welded to the shaft is 20. 0" Center of cross to center on the front (short) joint is 23. 5". My truck was lifted 2" in the front if that matters at all. Hope that helps!! :)
