Fellow diesel fanatics,

I am at 115,000 miles and finally ready for some new tires. I have many questions I need some help with. I want to rebuild the front end before I put new tires on. This is what I am thinking of replacing, tell me if you would do it now or wait until it needs it. Also if you can tell me who makes replacement parts that are greasable, and if you know of part numbers.

Upper and lower ball joints

Front Axle U-joints

Inner and outter tie rods (all four pieces)

Shocks and steering stabilizer (I am thinking Bilsteins)

Tires (I am thinking BFG AT 285-70-17)

And what is the REVs for the calibration of speedo.

Gentlemen, I would like to thank you for your help in advance. Please, any input you may have I would greatly appreciate.

Check out Rock Auto's website. You can find part numbers and descriptions for all the necessary front end parts you're asking about.

Go to the tire manufacturer's website to get the revolutions per mile for the tires you decide on.

Bilstein's website can provide the appropriate part numbers for the shocks and steering stabilizers.
