The Front End exhibits a binding condition & is felt & heard when turning hard left or right & seems to progressively getting worse.

Also seems worse when the truck is heavily loaded.

Otherwise there are no other symptoms when driving relatively straight or even turning large radius turns.

I need advice on what to & how to look for & the possibilities of what this type of problem could be?

Thanks guys!

Since you have a 4x4 it's possible your front u joints are worn and binding. Much more stress on those u joints in a tight turn.

Ron,

you & another member suggest I look @ the u-joints 1st.

Having a history of driving Toys, I have no experience w/ drive line problems, but it looks like I will be learning about those soon!

No matter, the CTD is still best in my book. i. e. Took a horse trip into the mtns last w/e w/ another that had a Ford. Too bad the Ford owner never made it out of town (broke down) & had to have some other people haul their horses for them. Then they were a day late because their Expedition also broke down! Thanks for the pointers!
