Help,Front end bounce
Last week I had my front end aligned by my dealer, which has done a good job on everthing they have done for me. They reset the toe and everthing else checked out. On my first trip out the I hit a RR crossing and the front end began to bouce up and down left wheel then the right wheel. The only time I have felt such a violent shaking is with a blow-out. I slowed donw to about 20 MPH and the truck planed out and I went over a thousand miles more with no reoccurrence of the problem. Is this the death wobble? I always pictured the death wobble as being a horizontal shimmy as apposed to a vertical bounce. I put Rancho 9000 on a couple of months ago and have them set at 3. I have over 40K on the current track bar, however the truck is not wondering from side to side like it was when I last replaced it. Is this an alignement problem or a one time random problem? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
