Install Instructions:

This is a copy of the instructions that come with the leveling kits.

Please Follow Instructions Carefully!!

Before you begin installation, drive and check vehicle to make sure there are no unusual sounds and /or frame damage. Also at the same time measure from the center of the hub to the bottom of the fender well on both sides and record measurements.

FRONT END INSTALLATION

1. Block the rear tires of the vehicle so it cannot roll backwards. Safely lift the front of the vehicle and support the frame with jack stands. Place the jack stands on both the driver and the passenger side. Next remove the wheels and tires from both sides.

2. Position a hydraulic floor jack under the front axle and rise until it comes in contact with the axle.

3. Place an index mark on the stock coil spring and the spring pocket (both sides). THIS WILL ALLOW YOU TO RE-INSTALL THE COIL SPRING IN THE SAME POSITION.

4. Locate the top of the shock absorber stud, which is located in the engine compartment. Remove the nut, retainer washer and grommet.

5. Remove the (3) stock nuts from the upper shock tower and set upper shock tower aside for later re-installation (both sides).

6. Remove the shock bolt from the lower shock mount on the axle. Save hardware for later re-installation. Remove the shock from the engine compartment (both sides).

7. Carefully lower down on the hydraulic jack enough for the stock coil spring to be removed. Next remove the rubber isolation pad and save for later re-installation. Remove the stock ring that has the bolts connected to them and put aside.

8. Lower down the hydraulic jack so that the stock coil spring and the spacer can be installed.

9. Install the stock coil spring into the stock location. NOTE: Refer to the mark that was scribed in step #3. Place the rubber isolator pad at the top of the coil spring and then insert the new coil spring spacer on top of the stock coil spring (both sides). Rise up the hydraulic jack until new coil spring spacer seats into the upper stock location.

10. Re-install stock upper shock tower into stock location. Secure the new coil spring spacer to the upper shock mount and tower using (3) 3/8 nuts. Torque to 35 ft. lbs. (both sides). SEE ILLUSTRATION #3)

11. Install the shock grommet and secure the top of the shock to the upper shock mount (both sides).

12. Remove the hydraulic jack from under the differential. Re-install the tires, wheels and remove the jack stands from under the vehicle.

13. HAVE VEHICLES FRONT END RE-ALIGNED

CONGRATULATIONS INSTALLATION COMPLETE

Also, I the spacers are 2 pieces machined from bar stock, not 1 piece as I reported earlier.

I'll wait until Monday 8/19 to see if anyone else is interested. Then I'll get firm pricing and send it out.

springs too?

I'm still interested in the 1" but why wouldn't I upgrade the springs (+lower links) to something better at the same time?

Anybody use a decent kit to do all of this?

I'd pay for links, springs. lift unit and hardware to do it all at once.

Any suggestions?
