Looking for some leads as to what could possibly be causing the following symptoms.

During normal driving, it feels like there's something loose in the front end. You can feel it throught the steering wheel, as if a union, (ball and socket) are loose and moving up and down when you encounter minor un-even road surfaces.

The truck steers perfectly. It doesn't wander or pull to either side. The only front end components that have been replaced are the Track Bar and both Tie Rod ends. The truck currently has around 86,000 miles. I don't do any off-roading.

Of course I tried to pull on various parts to see if anything was obviously loose but couldn't notice anything.

I'm looking for suggestions as to what parts I shoud first check into, and how to check them and start replacing.

Thanks for any and all suggestions!!!!!!

Well, with no other suggestions, I'm off to the local front end shop this Friday to see if they can spot what needs replacing.

keep us informed I am having the same symptoms on my truck. I am thinking possible draglink or trailing arm bushings.

It is caused by the steering intermediate shaft and will feel through column on bumbs and when hit brakes due to the cab mounted in rubber and steering gear on frame. The movement of the cab is transmitted through the column by the intermediate shaft. P/N has been superceded several times, replace shaft to fix. Borgeson also makes replacement shaft.

I would bet it is a loose shock bolt or worn out shock bushing. Push the wheel well up and down lightly and watch the shock for strange movement
