When driving the truck and I make a left turn from a stop there is a real bad vibration in the front end and even worse when I have a trailer behind me. It won't do it when I turn right or going straight, only left. Now I have replaced all the driveshaft u-joints, and have a new transmission. It doesn't squeek, chirp or bind like its in 4wd. Is it my front axle u-joint? Not sure what it is but I need to get fixed asap. Any suggestions?

This should be under the other forum for non engine stuff.

Have you done a search as this question gets asked a lot?

Check unit bearings, tires, u-joint, ball joints, steering... .

It doesn't sound like death wobble by the description, where do
You feel the vibration from the steering wheel, the whole truck, the pedals, the floor? At what speeds does it happen?

I feel the vibrations under my seat and the floor. When I make a hard left or right turn with heavier accelaration and espically pulling a trailer its very noticible. When I'm driving empty and do the same thing its not as bad, but still something that doesn't feel right. I had a friend drive my truck and he thinks its in the rear end. If it was the rear going bad, then why would I feel the vibrations under my seat the front floor?

Sounds like a drive line vibration, I'd check all U-joints and carrier bearings. You feel it under your seat because it's transferred through the frame, a wraped rotor or loose steering will usually be transfered through the steering wheel

Well, I think I figured out what it could be. When I had my axle fluids changed, I don't think the LS additive was added to the rear. We got some added and I'll go hook up to my trailer and see if that is what is causing my issue. Hope that is all it is
