That won't heal your vibration, vibration is always an unbalance on a rotating mass that needs to be cured with balancing - not with dampening.
And i tell it again, vibrations are a hell to figure out - it even come from your rear driveshaft and you feel it from Frontend.

Unless there are extenuating circumstances, lifts and other custom suspension mods, a good step up is the Bilstein 5160 shock. They are blue printed for Dodge HD trucks to work with stock and leveling kits. For an off the shelf product they perform nicely in non-stock applications.

What the OP describes may not be a vibration but rather a dampening problem in the suspension. Since he had stated it was affected by road conditions that suggests a rebound control issue. Since it did not change when tires were rotated that further suggest suspension.

Ozy, both are important. That said, I think you have it backwards.

Ok, the word vibration guided me to something.
For me a vibration is someting like an inbalanced wheel, driveshaft, brakedisc or drum or something.

Of course good shocks are very important for safety to keep the wheels on the road surface.

Indeed it is very easy to beat the Bilsteins, just go one step upward, by a custom valved King or Fox and be happy, no need for Double shocks or something, just a setup that is made right for the truck it belongs to.
Generic will never meet a particular vehicle.

Correct, always go with bigger displacement with proper valving. Stacking shocks is like stacking tuners: just do it right with first one.

Another option is Thuren's Overland shocks: https://www.thurenfabrication.com/p...mponents/shocks/overland-front-1994-2013.html

I finally got the new shocks and installed them over the weekend, the left shock still had some rebound to it but was weak, and the right shock was dead with no rebound at all I hope to road test today or tomorrow and I will report back with the results.

I think you nailed it.
