I need help with my 3500 - 1995 diesel

I had a small vibrating in the trucks front-end(like a small wobble or vibrating) I just installed six new BF Goodrich LT-285

All-terrain Load Range D - tires. Now the problem seems to have amplified, got worse! At 55-60 mph the vibrations is noticeable. Have any ideas???????.

Thank you

Garry Brown.

First thing I would do is look for play in the Track Bar, that is more then likley the problem, but if it looks good move to looking at the ball, and universal joints next. It's a 95 you just have worn parts that need to be replaced most likley.

Don't forget the drive shaft center support (carrier) bearing if you have an extended cab. It can feel like a tire out of balance when it gets worn. Problem is there is no reliable method of checking them I know of, short of replacing it. MUCH cheaper if you pull the drive shaft yourself and take it to a drive line shop for replacement. A good shop can check the ujoints and drive line balance when they replace the bearing. I'd stay far away from the dealer service department on this problem unless you are a very rich and patient person.
