I'm looking to do the same exact thing. Commercial product?, you have it fabricated?, you fabricated it?

Dimensions of end pieces that mate to frame?

Looks good. I want to put a bicycle carrier for 1 bicycle in the 2" receiver when we tow the 5er RV.

rweis, I built this myself, the endplates are 4" X 6 1/2" X 1/2"thick with sch80 2" cross tube. I have always wanted one for spotting trailers, bikes when towing 5er, and helping the guys with forts and shevys:p

I am planning on making a large step plate insert, I am on the short side, for when I am cleaning, oil change or whatever. I am also going to put the winch on a hitch tube to be used front or rear. I can go on and on about how this will work, but be boring you all, seeya,

Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

Hi swampinboy, nice job!! I too had to fab my own front hitch so I could keep my factory tow hooks. I designed mine a little different, used 1/2"x6" flat to go between the mounting bolts of the tow hooks and have my reciever coming out the plastic air dam under the license plate. Made a mount for my 8000# Ramsey so I can use it front or back or on the front of my flatbed trailer. If I still had welding/fab equipment I would be making them to sell. I know there are others out there that would want them. :D Happy truckin, Dave
