That ain’t grease making it shake, it’s flat spots on the tires.
So that's the ABS sensor hole eh? How often do you grease the bearings via the ABS Sensor hole?Just grease them, Some does leak out past the seal just wash it off, I have sooooo much grease in My hubs in the winter on ice packed roads the steering wheel shakes until it warms up ( About 2 miles) or on clear pavement, Some grease at 75/100K miles and have reported 300K plus on OEM bearings.

O I see what you mean, BC its been sitting and Yep that will happen.
Yep, it's really bad when it's -40 or colder.........load range c's will thump along for 10-15 minutes before they build enough heat internally to become round again.
I never once indicated that anyone should go out and purchase a quantity of CV boot grease and install in these style wheel bearings that are used on RAM HD pickups. The problem is, among others, CV joint grease is typically a No.1 NLGI grade and not suitable for wheel bearing use....unless your on the north slope.
FWIW, wheel bearing grease comes in multiple colors and does not indicate performance. Initial color is nothing more than helping the user identify a correct or incorrect grease.
My brother’s 03 2500 Hemi went out in 100K, he now owns my 04.5 (see sig) it now has 140K with OEM uni bearings. I guess it’s a hit and miss kind of issue.
Stop it....stop it, I say....with all of this common sense. Not only this, also the bearing and the way it is made surely evolved over the last decade.
When the Gen3 started it was a new design for a HD Truck, nowadays its the standard design and they learned over the years going by.
Same as the CR Design, then new and a lot of problems, today it works flawless.
Today we see the issues with the DEF System, and they will be gone in a couple years.
had a hub bearing fail @ 21k miles sounded like a brake lath during a hard right turn into work road 1 day, daily off road driving on rocky railroad right of way had vibration and fresh tires alignment new truck rough roads caused failure, dealer replaced both under warranty, had a rattle could not find it was the bearing going away
