Archived Front Hub Removal

I'm trying to remove my hub/disk to get at a bad U joint. I've got the axle nut off and the axle is loose inside it. The 4 bolts thru the backside of the knuckle are out, but it is still frozen on there.



When I did the other side last year, I pried until I separated the bearing.



Any hints on how to bust the rust bond and get this thing off?

Got it. I found a long crappy screwdriver and went thru the vent holes in the disk. The greatest access is where the calliper normally sits. I got it in a little notch and wailed on it. (BIGHAMMER, of course) I had my 3 jaw puller giving a little assistance as well.

I was going to suggest a slide hammer type puller. AutoZone near me has them to rent. It worked for me last summer.
