Ok I've done lots of brake jobs on 4x4's all sizes and makes without problems but now I have a problem that stumps me.
I replaced the front wheel bearings on both front wheels, I got the right side back together fine less the caliper and new brake pads. I then moved to the left side got the new bearings in, rotor back on, lock nuts and lock tab on. Clutch assy back in hub, rotor spins free.
Now the problem I put the hub selector on and every thing is fine until I tighten the six allen screws down the last one to two turns. At that point the rotor starts binding up. It gets progressively harder to turn. Loosen the allen screws up two turns the rotor frees up.
It makes no difference if the selector is lock or un lock. I turned the axle and made sure that all the splines were lined up, They were.
Let me know what you guys think. Mark
