I don't want to mess with new springs.

What nobody is telling you is blocks are actually hard to do that springs. You still have to undo and drop the suspension to get the block bolted in then insert the spring. With a spring you may have to bar it in or compress it but it is one piece not 2 to deal with. The amount of work to do either is about the same but the results are so much better with springs, well worth the cost difference IMO.

Thanks for all your ideas. I'm just going to forget it for now and install the new shocks. There are enough other things to do to the truck first, before the springs. Heck, I may just decide to go with a 2, 3, or 4 inch lift?

Do not use coil spacers! Replace the front coils and shocks. Thuren or Carli. Done deal. Don't waste your money with something else.
