I am installing a ranch hand bumper and a 15K winch and wanted to know what is the best way to raise back up the front end to stock height or a little better? Spacers? New Springs?
Thanks
Kyle

How much weight are you adding to the front end with that combination of winch and bumper??

The front ends on a 3rd gen truck are already almost maxed out by the might Cummins that we love so much, so adding even more weight tends to wear out parts FAST.

If you want to do it right, and have the money, I would suggest perhaps calling Carli Suspension or Thuren suspension and be willing to spend some money on their quality hardware, but be sure to be sitting down when you get the quote.

NOT saying that it can't be done on the cheap, but ultimately, you are going to be replacing front end parts as thety wear out anyway, particularly with the added weight, so why not do it right at the get go.

VR springs is the right way to do it but it needs additional pieces. With the extra weight you may not have to lift the rear to level or add in a little rake. Depends on how well you want it to ride.
