2nd gen tork lifts to 3rd gen

??? for Jordan 2020 users

I have an '03 2500 4x2 with rear air bags and Rickson 19. 5" wheels with load range G tires. I haul a camper that weighs about 3000# (plus tools and stuff). The front wheels are showing negative camber which is hard on tires and wheel bearings. What can I do about that? I can't find air bags for the front. What about heavier springs? If that's the answer which ones and where can I get them?

Springs will fix it but a cheaper way to do it would be to have an alignment shop install a " camber kit". You have run out of adjustment most likely. Don't know who has spring because I will need some soon as well. I am at the end of my alignment adjustments. I don't have all the goodies you do but mine is an 03, 2x4 dually.

Good luck

I talked to the local alignment guy today and he says he can put the camber kit in for $150 so I guess that's my best alternative for now. Thanks for the advice.

what camber kit are you talking about? 2wd trucks have sliding upper control arms allowing adjustment of camber and caster.

Appreciate the information. If the alignment can be done without the kit I can save $100. My gut feeling is that the springs have taken a set because of the extra weight and I really need to replace them with heavier duty springs. Will the 3500 4x2 front springs fit?

FYI, there is only so much adjustment you can do to the front end. I would not go with the 3500 front springs. That is what I have and they are starting to sag. I wouldn't be surprised if the 2500 and 3500 use the same springs. There isn't anything different on the truck except the overload springs on the rear to increase the hauling capacity between the 2500 and 3500. A good spring shop can make you up anything you want or try an aftermarket suspension place. KORE is an example.

What about one of those 2wd front end lift kits I have heard about. Lift the front end 1 inch. As you lift the front end, the geometry of the front suspension will change causing the tire camper to come back torwards true again.
