Just noticed that front pinion seal is leaking. Truck has 10500miles on it so looks like a trip to the dealer. Do ya'll think i can get them to change my diff fluid out as part of the repair. Brad

I am assuming [ and I know what that means ] that its under warentee .
Changing the fluid should be part of that , but you never know what they think .
Just looked at your millage , maybe not covered , if not , then you should never go to the dealer again , unless you've got one of the few good ones , but still , if you have or can find a performance shop in your area , thats where I'ld go .
Might be a good additions to are sources here , fourms , a search by location for performance shops & ratings .
You might start at the top on the page under site features , then links .

Last night I had my seal replaced on my 06 (17k miles) and they didn't change the fluid.

I didn't ask them to either, I plan to change it after I know for sure that the new seal is working properly.

To answer your question, I highly doubt they will change the fluid as part of the repair procedure.

Mine leaked a little last fall, quit for a while, and now this week it's leaking again. I added a little once, and now it's down maybe a cup. Since mine is looooong outta warranty, I'm not going to do anything about it. I've had pinion seals start and stop so many times I've lost track. As long as it doesn't leave a puddle or run low going down the road, I leave 'em... that is if I can stand the smell. If you don't have it, you can't "appreciate" how much Amsoil 75W-90 stinks.

It's a truck, it leaks.
