3rd Generation Question (2 wheel drive model only)...?

Is the nut on the rear side of the front shock loose or attached? I can't find a way to get a wrench or socket on it. And if I did I can't see how I'd ever get it back on anyway.

Hoping I can just back the bolt out from the front...

The nut is held in place.

Make sure to spray it with some kind thread loosener and it should come out pretty easily.

When you go to re-install, spray it with WD40 or anti-sieze.

Torque spec is 100 ft-lbs.

As I recall, its a 17mm deep socket.

The passenger side is a little harder because of the steering arm, but its do-able.

I had no problems with mine. Just used 1/2 deep and a long HD ratchet along with a wrench to keep the other side from spinning IIRC.
