I just put Bilsteins on my truck. There is no comparison. Get the Bilsteins. Made a world of difference to mine. I am very impressed. I ordered them from shox.com They gave quick shipping, & good price.

i have the bilsten shocks all the way around..... IMHO those are the best..... you also have rancho's, eldebrock's etc;

check out http://www.eshocks.com/ thats where i got my shocks @ a very nice price... . no affiliation with the website just wanting to pass along the savings to ya'll.

I like Rancho

I have Rancho RS9000S all the way round on my dually... great if you want to customize your ride. Sometimes I tune them for soft ride, always go to level 9 when towing my 17K lb 5th wheel. This is the 2nd truck I've had them on.

Also, I have in cab controller I'm going to install one of these years when I have time.

! truck w/ full Bilstein's, 1 truck w/ fronts only... 1. 5 trucks to finish putting Billsteins on. :)

Does this show what I believe is the best? LOL

Bilsteins installed around 140k, replaced the Monroes that were on when I purchased @ 75k. Wish I hadn't waited so long. Do it!

I put my bilstein on last month and couldn't be happier. I would never believe my truck could ride so nice. I plow with my truck and just put D25 springs up front as well. The springs are a little stiff but still rides better than before. I got mine from Central4wheeldrive because the ship to Alaska via postal service where as most online retailers won't. Their prices where the cheapest I found as well. I liked the Bilsteins so much I put them on my wifes Durango and it now rides like a Caddy.

I just called them and they are having website problems. Discount is still in effect. The 5100, non OEM replacement are $66. 99 a shock, ~$15 shipping for 4.

Anyone have sources for cheaper ones?

Off road warehouse was offering a TDR discount on Bilsteins. Don't know if it is still in affect. Ph. # is 1 800 341 7757

I think I've bought from them, Koreperformance.com, Summitracing.com, and Shox.com. I'd try all 4 for best price checking.

My suggestions is spend the money and get Bilsteins. I had Ranch 9000's on my 01 and the fronts didn't hold up at all. If you do go with the 5100's, see my thread and an earlier one on the 3d gen. forum re: installation tools/tips.
