replacing all shocks. Did the steering damper, rear shocks. Front shocks are giving me a problem. The 21mm bolts won’t budge even with my fairly new impact. What have others done in this scenario?

PB Blaster and if that does work you are torching it out. Probably seized in the shock but if it is seized there the nut is also.

X2 on PB Blaster or similar and maybe give it a day or two to penetrate with an additional application or two.

I took my originals out at about 40k. I went heavy with the antiseize, and it paid off. This time (recently) I was fearing the worst, but they spun right out with my B&D electric impact.

Thanks for replies. I’ve soaked it in aero kroil, I use pb blaster when I run out of kroil. Jacked up frame to let suspension hang. Still no give. I will heat it my next try. This is the first one that has given me a fit. I also anti seize everything I reassemble just for good karma

If Kroil isn't getting it to break loose it sounds like it is going to take some heat.....let us know how it goes.

Don’t let the suspension bottom out/ hang. All that does is put that bolt in shear. Not that it matters if you can’t shock it loose, but once you do, it will matter.

I prefer Sea foam Deep Creep myself.

Sometimes it takes a big bar to get it started before the impact will take her out. Grab your 1/2 breaker bar and a 6 foot pipe and look out.

Do your self a favor and test fit the new shocks in the axle mount if the coil is out, some shocks are a little wider , some narrower and its real hard to open up that mount once the coil is in place.
