The front air dam finally gave up on me and fell off on a 4x4 trip scouting for Javalina this Spring. It is kind of funny when you are driving back out of a spot and notice an air dam lying in the road then realize it is yours! Anyway while doing the install (found cheap on eBay by the way) I noticed the factory sway bar links were toast. They had clearly been over articulated way to many times. My truck is not lifted, but I am +2 on tire size. The stock units look like they came off a 1500. Anywaym I replaced them with some Bully Dog units purchased from Geno's and boy what a difference in quality.
If you haven't looked at your links recently and you spend some time off pavement or have bigger tires check your links out. You my find you need a new set. Note the BD's require you to press in the bushings and drill out the mounts with a 14mm bit. I suggest you get a 4x4 shop to press the bushings, but with the right bit and powerful drill (air) this is not a difficult jog.
Just thought I would share.
