Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Front Timing Cover Gasket question

Why does the napa gasket for the front engine cover look like this? Am I missing something, or is this just the wrong part? I am looking for the gasket that goes around the big cover that holds the front crank seal. I would prefer that to RTV sealant. Thanks

If I remember right, the bottom of the cover bolts to the oil pan. That looks like the correct gasket.

That looks like the gasket between the block and the gear housing. You should be able to reuse the gasket, just a small amount of RTV will seal it up fine. The gasket will be well sealed to the cover
