01 2500 4x4 5speed running the new Mich M+S 2's with only 6 k miles on them. The rear are fine but he front are feathering all across the tread. I run empy 85% of the time with 55 psi front and 50 psi rear. I had the truck at a alignment shop before dropping $1k on new tires and alignment is ok and ball joints are ok.

Any ideas?

I have almost 200k on it. Taking it to the alignment shop tomorrow to get the toe end checked and will have him look at the bushings.

No one has any recommendations on tire pressure? The owners manual is of course useless.

70 in front, 45 in rear unloaded. Easily get 100k with 3rd gen Michelins or BFG'S. 98 12V 4X4 Quad cab with 350k so I have a lot of experience with air pressure.
