HAS ANYONE REPLACED THE FRONT WHEEL BEARINGS ON A TWO WHEEL DRIVE SUSPENSION? IF SO, WHERE DID YOU GET THE PARTS? wHAT SPECIAL TOOLS ARE REQUIRED? I AM GOING TO HAVE TO DO SOMETING WITH MINE SOON. IT SEEMS A WASTE OF MONEY TO THROW AWAY PERFECTLY GOOD HUBS. I WILL WELCOME ANY HELP.

I got bearings from O'Reilly Auto Parts. A bearing press would help to replace the bearing race.

"dj" :

Not sure of (Jetsons 99), but a 2001 and 2002 have a replaceable hub assy. When I needed one a year and a half ago, I could only get it thru Dodge dealer. And thru an independent shop I had the job done for less than Dodge wanted for the part. I have been told that the hub is not servicable, but a throw away. Maybe thats true but so far I haven't heard of a serviceable part for it. Also the lock nut that holds the hub on is not supposed to be reused. I think its 44mm and the torque spec is over 175 ft lbs. Good luck.
