Front Wheel Bearings

Have not pulled a front hub yet, but will soon when I have the wheels off to change out brake pads.



Can't tell from the service manual - does the 1999 model 2WD have the sealed front bearings that (supposedly) don't need servicing (except when they fail in the middle of nowhere)?

If its a 4x4 they are sealed--no maintainance, just run them till they go bad. you can check for noise or looseness only---Sam

If it's a 4x2, you can lube them. I did mine a few months ago.
