I've finished my front brakes, bearings, power booster, master cylinder. I've put it all back together. My driver side wheel is perfectly true but my passenger side still looks like the bearings are shot. What might be going on? It was true until I let it down off the jack and then it looked like I didn't work on it at all. Could the camber or caster (can't remember which) be that off from a major pothole?

Top of wheel appears closer to the engine then the bottom. I could take a picture.

Could be ball joints, control arm bushings, bent components, etc. Have you checked for play in the ball joints and bushings? That would be the first place to start. If everything is tight, look over the control arms and make sure they weren't damaged from the pothole - hitting a big one can do a lot of damage, so that certainly is a possibility.

If you have a reputable frame and axle shop in your area, it may be worth taking the truck to them to have everything checked thoroughly if you don't see anything obvious. Most shops will look at the truck for free and give an estimate for repairs. You can then decide if you want to tackle the work yourself. ;)

thanks dan. I'm thinking I must have a hit a pothole at some point because I just had the front end rebuilt less then 20K ago.

Maybe you got one of the bearings cocked on the race or spindle, then when it loaded up it might have freed causing a ton of play... just a thought.

The right side is not only noticable, but I'd dare say bad. The left looks like it has positive camber and the right negative. I think I'd look for bent/loose stuff and then have it aligned. Something is definately amiss.
