hi i can't seem to find a wheel bearing assembly for a 96 ram 8800gvw 4wd, all i can find is for rwlabs only does it matter will it make a differance. my abs does not work do to it missing the ring on the axle yoke can i use a huib for the rwl abs and make everythink work but the abs truck is currently down bearing exploded last night thanks

go to rockauto.com. i now buy all my parts there, there great. it's there. ive replace three on mine. 2 ii ordereed from advanced auto for around 180. 00 i think. *****one note, when putting the axil nut back on, make sure you torque it to the proppere torque(somewhere arouond 180ft ponds) if not, the ebearing will loosen out of the sleeve it's pressed into, and, u guessed it, buby bearing... .

almost forgot, our trucks only have rear abs, that might work some of the time if that. there is no front abs, so your parts guy is wrong. i have a 96 8800gvw, 4x4 that ive replaced everey part on, and learned alot.

there relly is abs my 94 only has rweel this 96 has 4 wheel i have the build sheet from the dealer with the option codes the controller is on the fender weal and is made by kelis-hays this truck has strange optiions like california eminitons

94-99 their was a 4 wheel ABS option. Not very common at all. I saw a 99 the other day that had the tone ring on the axle, but it wasn't a 4 wheel abs.

my 95 has 4 wheel ABS. It was a factory option that I ordered when building the truck back in September 1994. :)

The 4 wheel ABS on a 96 is a POS that doesn't work well anyway. I would not spend a dime to make if functional and many have disconnected it so they can safely stop the old fashioned way.

ok i got it fixed it turns out the bearing i took out and the new on had the same part # i thought it would work b/c of the abs sensor mouted to the nuckle i managed to get a timiken unit for 127. 95 and 36. 17 for a rotor got it back together and foung out that i need an upper ball joint to thanks for the help
