My 2011 seems to have too much tint on the front windows, cant see out the pass mirror unless bright sunshine. how much tint do your 4th gens have on your front windows? I need to find out if this is OEM or aftermarket.

If it's on the front door lites it's aftermarket. Due to varying state laws the manufacturers do not tint any glass ahead of the "B" pillar with privacy (dark) tint.

I have 35% on the front, 5% on top of the factory tint that was on the back windows and a 5% strip across the top of the windshield. The darker the better with the heat and sunshine we get here. In Texas 25% is the darkest you can have on the front, the back you can do whatever you want.

Crank down the door glass an inch or so, if there has been a tint film added you will see the line near the edge, if so have it removed by a window tinting shop, I added tint to mine and have no issues

15% closely matches the factory tint on the rear windows. That is what I have on the front doors and an eyebrow across the windshield.

I run 35% on the windshield and front windows and 5% over stock on the back of my standard cab. With the HID head lights theres no problem seeing in any direction at anytime of day or night, and trust me where I live theres plunty of night. Privacy in this country is priceless!

No need to take it to the tint shop so they can charge you to remove it. Just get a razor and some warm soapy water. Slide the razor under one corner of the tint until the edge pops up enough to grab with your fingers. Then slowly pull tint away from window in a diagnal direction while sparying the soapy water as you go onto the glass. Ounce film is removed take your razor and go over the window in a vertical direction section by section till the sticky residue is removed completely.

Surefire is right. I just put 20% on my fronts yesterday. Matches rear doors real good. The door panels and windows are the easiest to remove on this truck compared to any vechicle I have ever owned. Shouldnt have anytrouble removing the tint yourself in an hour or so.
