Frozen stereo???

SO the last few days he as been in the single digits here. . and when i start the truck and drive it, my stereo does not work at all! only the backlight when the lights are on works. no time, nothing... then later it does work. it has done this a few times. any thoughts? will that throw a code in the BCM for the dealer to see that?
