Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Frustration!

So I bought a Cummins tappet holder kit and tonight I get ready to pull up my tappets to pull my cam and what do I find... only 6 dowels in the kit!! I can't believe it. I know I can make my own, but I live too far from town to go get any now. Talk about frustrating! I thought about cutting each one in half but they're 18" long so half is too short.

Mebe you have one of them 3 cylinder B engines!



Seriously, the kit could be for a 3 cylinder B. Seems unlikely, But It is possible. The B is made in 3, 4, & 6 cylinder models. P.
