Competition Here's one way to drop some weight.

Competition Pulling with auto transmission?

Yep old man "John" is getting quite the reputation around Cheyenne in his "farm truck":D

I've been bugging him to bring his truck to PFI this Sat. We shall see?

Are the Ford guys/gals coming?

I had a ride in this "farm truck" the other nite. It does have plates on it that say FARM.

I'll bet he could plow a mean furrow.

Wonder how much hp my high performance blinker fluid is worth?;)

It could be interesting.

Tag team the flower pokes. :-laf

Hey guys! I'm sitting at work on the side of the mountain, and the weather looks awful here. Whats the status up in Denver, and any predictions for tonight. Trying to make a decision on whether to drive up tomorrow or not.

Thanks!

I also took some tension out of the piston return springs:D

Still kind of cold but have blue skies here in Cheyenne.

Maybe I should slide the fuel plate forward in the VP44.

Forecast:

Rain and snow showers will continue to fall primarily west and south of I-70 today. The Winter Storm Warning has been extended for Denver until midnight. Look for another 1-4" of wet snow today in the city with another foot above 6000 feet. Winter Storm Warnings are also in effect for the mountains today with Winter Weather Advisories are out for some western slope areas. Look for periods of heavy wet snow across central and southern sections of the city and state today with a cold north wind that will produce reduced visibility for travellers. Tonight decreasing wind and snow with overnight lows in the upper 20s. Saturday look for a few flurries early then clearing and cool conditions with highs near 50.

Direct from Greeley, today on the 23rd.

The weather had been cool with an ocassional spit of rain today.

We had dry roads almost all day here, and I could see the sun peek out often. I think it is going to be FINE.

I got to test out some new spinner tires (tires you don't care about) this afternoon, and just happened to lite them up in front of the local cop sitting at the gas pumps across the lot from the tire store.

I didn't even see him. I went over to a body shop across the street and then got in my truck to go back to the tire store and the cop drove around the corner. I thought..... wow, that was close, but I'm cool.

When I got back to the tire store, the guys all came out laughing and asked if the cop said anything to me. I am still thinking that he just got there. Then they tell me he watched the smoke show. I guess he is cool, he never said anything to me. I bet that I should drive cautiously in that town:cool:

See You Tomorrow,

LaserBob

Hey Bob, the roads in Denver are clear and dry at this time. The trip back from Greeley was dry till Denver and then quit here an hour or so later. I'll see you tomorrow, even in my little ole 2wd. transmission seems to shift better, time will tell. Hope that FARM truck we talked about shows up. I'm really interested in it!!!
