Well, after seeing all of the posts about fuel additives, the guy on the radio finally convinced me that I should be adding a fuel additive to my 02. From the posts, it seems like Stanadyne is the best choice. The problem is I cant seem to find where they sell it. (Can anyone in the north Seattle area point me to a local dealer ?)

So, if I cant find Stanodyne, can anyone suggest another product that I can easily find at maybe a Schucks auto parts, or some other local dealer ?

Thanks in advance,

Tractorat

I'd look at Bosch fuel injection shops, in your area. Many of them seem to handle Stanadyne products. Might try any fuel injection shop.

What are you looking for in a fuel additive? If you are looking to address multiple problem areas (low cetane, low lubricity, injector cleaners, etc. ) then the Performance Formula or Performance Junior may be what you are looking for. If you are looking to address just "lubricity", then the Lubricity Formula would be the best bet.

Some of these additives end up being much cheaper, than others.

If you are not sure you need a Cetane boost, try the PF. If you don't notice an increase in performance or fuel economy then, you don't need a cetane booster.

If you can't find the Stanadyne, try Wal-Mart for other options (Power Service, etc. ).
