Fuel additives?

Do I need to add a fuel additive to my 04' H. O. Due to the new low sulphur diesel fuel, They are starting to sell at fuel stations?

i always run an additive just to know that i have all of the lubrication for my pump and other fuel system components. also seems to smoke less and idle better with additives.

I do the same thing... I add it to every tank, just to be sure. It also helps keep water out of the fuel... I have had less than a teaspoon of water in my FASS in the last 30K.



I run Howe's with good results, but I have also ran PowerService and Lucas with equally good results.

ive heard good things about the howe's and was planning on trying it out.

powerservice mixed with non-detergant 30w oil, I get both from tractor supply.

Been running Power Service since new but have switched to Lucas since WalMart hasn't had the PS for a month or two. Can't tell any difference, I just do it for the lubrication and supposed carbon deposit cleaning.

Thank's, I am going to run an additive with every fill! I have found PS at wallyworld and Kragen Auto parts.
