Just wanted to know if there should be a hose connected to the canister drain? Everytime I fill up I let some fuel drain out and it just pukes out of the valve covering just about everything. Been meaning to ask this but just keep forgetting the little things.

Yes, there is a hose. Mine is just long enough to get fuel all over the crossmember. I'd put a long one on and route it so it dumped overboard.

At least yours works:rolleyes: The last couple of times I tried mine, the valve stuck open and dumped about a gallon of fuel on the lot before I could get it to stop flowing.

There should be a clear hose connected, although the factory one is way too short, I took mine off went to hardware store and bought one several feet longer then after installing it cut it to a proper length, mine goes down by front axle now, no more mess!

My fuel filter drain stuck open a couple of times and I lost some diesel. I sprayed the valve with WD-40 and worked it open and shut several times and I haven't had any more problems. I think it just needs some lubricant to make it slick.
