2013 Projector Headlight Issue/Problem

Blower Motor Speeds

All good with tank install. 6gal gauge showed empty. On the menu showed 20 miles to empty. I never went by that on my 18.. Total of 20gal 3/8 tank and another 20gal on top of that 7/8 tank.

Genos makes nice locking gas and def caps . Very nice nut a bit spendy
Bought mine for about $30+ 4 yrs ago; does the trick.

This B.S. cheap a-- money saving re-engineering something where it's not called for, still & forever will bug the s--t out of me whenever I fuel up. This just CANNOT be a $$$ saving effort considering the engineering, design & new tooling!!! I want to continue relying on "Dodge brothers" philosophy, to continually improve on the past & be comfortable in the future reliability.

Did I hear that RAM is eliminAting oil dip sticks in favor of "sensors"?

I need a locking def and fuel. Someone could dump there coke in there and screw up my motor. Or chocolate malt etc etc etc

No he can not.
You need a special nozzle to open the two flaps.
That thing is sealed.

That's also why most older fuel cans don't work for the new vehicles.

A cheap, long trans funnel will by pass the "2" flaps that seal the tank! I'm just saying. With everything made, there is a way to defeat or bypass it. Plus, on our trucks, it's a plastic top area! I'd much prefer a locking fuel door vs locking caps. If the double "D" punches weren't so darn expensive, I'd already would've punched the fuel door and had a lock that matches my tool box!

I’m not sure when it changed, likely 2019, but there is only one flap on my 2022. It’s much better for filling from a jug or using additive.

That being said, a locking cap isn’t something I feel I need.

On the new 2025 RAM 1500 Hurricane, no dipstick on the engine oil. There hasn't been a dipstick on the ZF transmission since 2014. Transmission is one thing, I'm used to not having dipsticks. I'm a manual transmission guy. However engine oil is, well a different issue.

I heard that the Hurricane has issues with the bottom end... reminds me of the EcoDiesel Gen 2 saga all over again... also overheating issues when towing. Heck, they even reused the cooling degas bottle off the of EcoD. There has been reports of injector issues and other major things going on.

No way would I get that Hurricane engine.

I bought an aluminum twist-to-close cap from Amazin… and the problem I find with it is that …IF YOU CAREFULLY feel it as it is installed…it actually OPENS THE FILLER-FLAP …which seems to me to be counter-productive as it keeps the flap open continuously… by-passing any capability to seal against contamination.

The magnet is on the bottom/center of the cap. The Geno’s “appears” to be hollow in that area.. I wonder if the Geno’s version allows the flap to remain closed/sealed..
