I just bought these, basically throwing parts at it to see what sticks (although I am confident it is injector related) based on recommendations of others.



Figured I post pictures so everyone knows what I'm talking about... plus, I think a lot of people look for these threads and the info is buried.



The crank and cam sensors are the same part number... Cummins 3408529. These will show up in the Cummins database system if you provide you engine info. These ran me $29. 65/each.



The fuel control actuator (FCA) is part number 4932457. These are not shown in the Cummins database for our truck, and the database shows the FCA is possibly replaced with the CP3 as an assembly. The FCA ran me $111. 09.

damn dodge got me the other day for 40 bucks for the crankshaft pos sensor and that was with shop discount. i need to get a fca for my truck too. when i come to a stop it wants to idle about 300 rpm higher until i put it back in first.
