Guys, I,m afraid I turned my fuel too far. When I took the screw out to bust that steel collar, I think the jamnut may have moved, thus loosing my original position, plus I dont know where it was set when I got it. The steel collar had never benn removed though. Is there any cheesy way to tell if I took it too far? cuz I think I've created a monster! I am blowing everybody away (especially PSD's!--this I expect though) I can get almost 0-80 in a quarter mile with only the fuel turned up and exhaust system. Theres lots of smoke--I like this. I dont have any gauges and even if I did I wouldn't know what they were tellin me. The truck runs at about the same temperature as always. Please help. What do you guys think?

Wirenut,
I would get a pyro on the truck so you will know if you are running too hot since you don't how much fuel you've added. That would be 1300 degrees pre-turbo or 900 post for sustained periods of time.

Did your idle speed increase when you turned up your pump? The idle speed was the limiting factor on mine even with the idle adjustment screw completely backed out.

Sounds like yours is about where mine is. I can do a 1/4 mile in 16. 6 sec @ about 80 mph per my G-TechPro (although 80 is about as fast as mine will go). My EGT has never been above 650 degrees post turbo, although I haven't had more that about a 2000 pound load since I turned up the pump.

I was able to set my idle back with even a little to spare. I can get about 85 mph top speed. It should be alright for now I guess, but I,m going shopping for a pyro and boost gauge right now. Thanx for the replies guys!
