I had the TSB reflash of the ECM performed last week. I've not filled up again since the reflash but so far I've noticed that my fuel economy has improved after driving about 150 miles. I had about 1/2 tank when the reflash was performed and the overhead computer was showing about 13. 5 mpg. I've driven about 150 miles (same type driving) and it has increased to about 15. 5. I only have about 5700 miles on the truck and have never noticed the mpg increasing like that. The jury is still out until I run a couple of full tanks. The best mpg I've gotten to date is 17. 1 with all highway driving 70 mph and under. I have been pretty disappointed with the mpg of this truck compared to my 96 CTD. I'm happy to say that I've not noticed any power loss though I don't have access to a dyno. And it's like one other person stated, I didn't buy the truck to race. I also have noticed that the truck doesn't puff white smoke with started cold under 50 degrees C any longer. I think the TSB reflash did what I expected. :)

I'm getting a consistent 19-19. 5 since the reflash. Not as good as my 01 six speed which was getting about 21. But better than the 17 I started off with before the reflash.

TSB done two months ago... .

My hand calc is better than my overhead (most of the time)... you may be getting better mpg than you think Oo.
