Can someone tell me a easy way to get the banjo bolt out of the bottom of the fuel filter and replace it. I have a new bolt with the 1/8 npt hole in it and would like to install it with a fuel pressure sensor on it. How do I get to the bolt without taking half of the engine compartment apart?

Look at the banjo on the injection pump. It is the same size. Find any wrench that will fit this. Just reach under the filter (blindly) and unscrew the banjo (I stand on an old milk box). It is real easy. Make sure to drain the fuel first and then catch the washers as the old banjo comes off.

I second Sir David's reply. Size a wrench on the banjo, then just lay over that engine, reach down and take her off. Needless to say, drain the fuel filter canister first.

Don't forget which way to turn that wrench either. Anytime you take something off that is upside down, you gotta crank the opposite direction. So, as you look down on it, crank that wrench clockwise. Otherwise your little project might turn into a really big project :(

Vaughn, I forgot about that after I got my new differential housing. I wanted to drain the lube and put in some fresh Amsoil and lo and behold I'm trying to loosen the drain plug in the Mag-Hytec by turning it counter clockwise  I was fortunate that I didn't hurt anything. Well, duhh!!!!
