Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) fuel filter = bolt size?

I`m working on the lift pump problem ,like everyone else. Could any one tell me the size of the hole in the bottom of the stock fuel filter going to the VP-44? thanx

Your filter is different than the one I had, but I believe yours is a metric sized hole with thread M12x1. 5 just as the 98-99 canisters were. I believe the line to the VP from the filter is around 5/16 ID but its probably metric as well. At least that little rubber hose section that joins the steel hard lines is 5/16 SAE size.

If its the 02 you are referring to it's a webber #6 I believe. (Fuel line thread for the banjo bolt that goes to the VP44)
