How much psi will the stock fuel filter cap handle???? I will be running around 40 to 50 psi... I looked at the one that geno offers but that thing is pricy... . Any others out there I should look at??

stock won't hold 40-50psi for long. . pop for the billet piece or bypass the stock housing [with external filters eg: fass, airdog, gdp. . ]

i have put 50 psi + though mine for over 15,000 miles. I never thought the top would pop. It is just plastic i guess and about 3inch in dia. 50psi x 3" dia x 3. 14 = 471 lbs. :-laf I guess that is a lot! I am surprised when I capped the regulator off and the gauge pegged at 100psi it did not explode.

Safe bet is to keep it under 30psi. I keep mine at 25 and never had a problem. I've heard of a few that lost the cap over 30. No real definitive testing here though.

Modded cp3's call for around 50psi at the cp3... Is Genos the only one who carrys a aftermarket filter cap???

I know modded cp3's require higher pressure. That doesn't mean the stock fuel canister will handle it...

Genos is the only place I've seen the billet cap. I'm still not convinced this cap can handle the higher pressure. The fuel filter canister was never meant to handle much over 10psi.
