I have a leak at the fuel filter housing. The dealer was suppose to fix it, but didn't. So I spent time to locate where it was comming from. It took a while but I found it slowly dripping from the back of fuel heater elements plastic housing. I tried to tighten the screws, but they were ok. According to the manual, if I take it off there is and o-ring that goes into the fuel filter housing. This has to be what is leaking, but the manual doesn't show any breakout for me to know what it looks like behing the plastic heater element. Has anyone had this problem, or pulled off the heater element to know what it looks like? This looks like something simple if its just and o-ring or gasket. Its still under warrantee, but I don't exactly trust the dealer. The last time they tried to tell me that it was the drain hose. I showed them that was BS as it was dry inside. Any help is appreciated.

Sorry, here's more information about truck. It's a 2001, 4X4, quad cab, 3/4 ton. There are no mods to fuel filter system. The manual shows that there is an o ring only by description in reassembly instructions. There is no breakdown showing what the heater element looks like inside the filter housing.
