Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) fuel filter micron?

Cant seam to find it anywhere but was wondering what our fuel filters are good for , I am wondering what micron is acceptable to pass thru the vp and our injectors ?



I am currently feeding my l/p from my aux tank with a 10 micron filter between them, this filter is rated to flow 90 gpm, it has 3/4 ports, It is a spin on unit . I guess my other Q is do I still need the oem filter after the l/p ? I am guessing the answer is yes due to possible stuff from the l/p ?

Kevin, as of the introduction of the 24v engines in the '98. 5 model, Dodge reduced the filtering media specification TO a 10 micron rating for the OE fuel filter.
