Can someone please give me the part number for the fleetgaurd fuel filter that has an opening for the petcock in the bottom. The guy at the local Cummins dealer can only seam to find one without the hole in the bottom (makes it hard to check for water).

Thanks

Mike

The right filter to use is the FS1232, I believe that is the number. I don't know the correct filter for an '89 and weather you have the screw in drainvalve/WIF sensor harness. If you don't have the provision for Water in Fuel, you can get the part and filter from Geno's, and just use the drain and ignore the wiring. They have both and good prices.

I just looked in the Fleetguard catalog and the FS1232 is what is shown for all 1st generation CTD trucks. Strange as it seems, they show a note stating without intercooler even through 1993. I guess that they just forgot to remove that note after the 1991. 5 models came out.
