Important -- remember to close the draincock on the filter housing before bumping the starter to fill the system. Don't ask how I learned this.



Less important but, I hope, helpful -- I found that a deep-well 1-1/8" socket on a 1/2" ratchet is just the trick for minimizing the number of tools under the center seat.

With fuel filtration so important, why doesn't the owners manual make a big deal out of it and show you how? That's ridiculous.





The reason the owners manual doesn't show you how to do anything is liability... ... ..... I have run into many do it your selfers that are down right dangerous :-laf :-laf

It's amazing how much fuel that little lift pump moves, isn't it?
