Fuel filter torque

Does anybody know what the torque is for my 02 ho fuel filter lid is? I read it somewhere and think it is 33 in. lb. but really i can,t rememeber for sure Thanks!!!

Berg, I can't remember what it is either. I tighten mine by hand as much as I can and leave it go. No problems so far. Make sure you remove the old o-ring when you slip the new one on.

'00 is 25 in lbs. Same in '03. I don't know about the years in between.



EDIT: The cover is torqued to 25 FT lbs in '03, not 25 in lbs. I don't have my '00 manual with me so I can't verify that one. I just wanted to clear that up before someone's fuel filter housing leaks on account of a brain fart on my part.
